Supposedly I had to shoot a couple today but I think 3 people shooting a nikah ceremony is much overkill so I cancel the plan. I do research for nearly the whole day and at 430 I took a lrt+train to mid valley.  RapidKL have fully implemented the token system and combine both lines. I'm happy for that. No more wasting time getting to que for a tiket when I change line at Masjid Jamek. I however dont know about that sooner thus I had to que again at MJ. The que was frantically long.. since 2 machines were down. Continue to Sentral. Then again I missed one train to mid valley. Waited nearly 30 minutes for it. KTM komuter is fkn slow even on weekends. I think they need to have at least 10 min interval.. and please we human male need our own coach too. Its disheartening to see plenty of rooms available on ladies coach but we are not allowed to enter.
I arrive kinda late. Missed the saiful nang presentation. I hovewever still on time for Keda Z presentation. Hes younger than me. I known his studio in JB from my colleague FB. I kindof like the style and look of his masterpiece. Its like HDR blend with classical painting.

In his case, he had to choices whether to become a  musician or a photographer so he choose the latter. He set a target to master basic dslr tech in 3 months by assisting for others- try to shoot couple, try to pose (he use mirror and pose himself) One of his tips is to buy international mag to learn the sample pictures. Its have more production value and a lot can be learn..He also use internet by downloading inspiring pictures, print them and show to client ~ i wan to do this this this. After 3 months he already shoot his own clients. He also set a target to win award by 3 years bcoz according to him ppl dont really care how long u've been shooting but if u won and award then its a diffrnt story.He learned by checking prvious winner entries. Music is also and inspiration. the lyrics the melody. Hes listening to it during shooting to get the mood.

Shooting style.
He love to shoot movement not static. Dynamic movement. Eg talking, movingwalk feeling. - talk in soft voice.. ask them to close their eyes.

Tips :
For shooting he use one video light from the front and one speedlight (with yellow gel), hold by the groom, pointed at the shirt so that it will reflect to the face.

After that I walk around the exhibition area, testing 7dm, 5d and 1d. 7d and 5d shutter shound is sexy, and fast to boot. I dont know how to operate a 1d though.  Theres a local co. selling malaysian made stabilizer and theres a lot of bags selling for cheap. I however have only RM50 in my pocket thus dont purchase anything. I had some western food at the foodcourt, bough a photo mag and ride the train home. Its still slow, thank god I got the mag. Back home I try to play with photoshop to find the secret sauce to Keda Z style image. And I found it the day after.
