Its been a while since i went for a trip.. My last trip to bali was cancelled and my roadtrip to hatyai while was great are not planned carefully and we lost along the way. This time I took 2 days leave for my 4 days trip to brunei and sabah. alone.. Got the ticket august last year for only Rm43 (excluding B$ 12 airport tax that needed to be paid at the airport prior to departure from brunei).. and heres the story mory.13/4/2011. Wednesday
Today I went to the office with my huge 30l backpack.. After working hours I change my office attire, put them in a tote back and leave it in my drawer. My office mate Anas send me to the lrt and I went to Kl Sentral. There I had a lunch at the Kabul restaurant near Sooka Sentral. Had Mango Lassi and Chicken Tikka Masala. After that I straighaway went to LCCT via airbus. For this trip I bring my cheap samsung phone and old compact camera, to decrease the load and chances of losing it. But still, I had my netbook with me.
This is actually my first trip to Borneo, and my second time sleeping at LCCT. Its safe to sleep here tidur2 ayam style since theres a lot of 24 hour restaurant.
I plan to sleep at Tune Hotel at first but cancelled it due to the far location.. I rather sleep in Lcct rather than walking in the morning to lcct hugging the big backpack.. I felt sleepless in LCCT. At time like this they decided to close the hall to spray pesticides. I had a chat with an indonesian women who is waiting for her internet? boyfriend from saudi arabi who is said to be stranded in Singapore. Poor lady, shes been waiting since the afternoon.. my gut feeling says that she had been fooled by that guy.
I saw some hdslr videographer at the food court .. they used imovie too hehe.. but their hdslr had been fused with shotgun mic, external viewfinder etc and it look like a beast.. complete with that 25k L zoom lens that i can only dream of.
then i realised that i broke my netbook. The lcd screen is damaged maybe due to the pressure.. It had 2 big black dots now its worthless. . the ram and hd is salvagebale.. now i had no travel companion.. the laptop had follow me everywhere i got.. china, hong kong, macau, hatyai and also my outstation trips to JB and Gurun. now its history... maybe I should get an ipad.
