Day 2: KK to Labuan

15/4/2011. Friday

In the morning my friend had a marathon he need to attend so I stay at this bujang friends house. Tak manis pulak nak stay with his wife masa ketiadaan dia hehe.. I sleep there, layan metallica live in Italy which is perform in an old colliseum  i tell ya..  the makan nasi kuning sandakan. sedap juga. lauk ikan. after that he bring me to kg ayer where i bought some mutiara kerongsang and tasbih for my mom at his persuasion hehe.. then we went to sutera harbour and take some picture.. the scenery is great. had lunch near the waterfront. I bought my ticket for Rm32 and at 1.30am I took a ferry from jesselton ferry terminal and arrive labuan at  4.55. During the journey they play the 6 million dollar man (stephen chow movie) that cause hysteria and also songs by homie jimmy palikat moodop au koodop.

in labuan i struggle to find the backpacker hostel call the asv backpacker. I found NA classic, a sub of my co. though. I stay at kfc and surf to no avail. Thank god all mcd and kfc in malaysia got free wifi. The cashier there is very gedik. I can rent a motorcyle but its a bit late. Finally,  I had to settle with a 3 star hotel. I think its better than cheap inn that seems shady. I only trust backpackers hostel and clean hotels. No hotel ayam for me. I paid Rm118 for the hotel and spend the nite exclusively there . I plan to eat outside but its raining. I drink 2 tins of teh bunga from the fridge. Since its expensive, i replace it with identical item i bought at the mini mart below. Pandai kan. Air cond kurang sejuk, else its comfy. I spend my time surfing the internet on wifi using the broken screen.
