5 reason why I quit my job on the first day!

1. The previous accountant left with messy works

I heard from the manager that he left, given a 24 hour notice so there is no handover or whatever. The result is - he left a lot of messy, unorganised, pending work in progress that I had to continue, and theres no one to ask. So , in other word I had to clean all the shits that h had done


2. Working Saturday

This company opens on Saturday, half day so it will make it hard for me to enjoy my weekends, balik kampung, backpacking etc. Don't get me wrong, I worked with Shindora before and they have working Saturday too, but at least they only work 7 hours on the other week days. In this company, theres 8 normal work hours on the weekdays, so we had to work 45 hours a week. I think it is against the labour law!


3. The location

Warehouse office is in a ghetto factory/repair area near Batu Cave. I think I'm not going to stay late there.Plus it took like 30-40 minutes to reach there, full speed on duke highway


4. Local Plus

Its like UBS, but with a larger scale and more confusing UI. Takleh gi lah. Nak kena study system tu lagi.


5. The PUNB scheme

I had to sign the 6 months sponsorship with PUNB. And I had to pay them back if I left within that period. No freedom for freedom lover like me.

I quit by SMS, and I send 3 sms each to my manager, the director and my ex-manager at my old firm who recommend me. I expect a backfire but until this time of writing (the next day, evening) I havent receive anything from them. No calls no sms reply. Am I that lucky? I think since I havent sign anything, they can't do anything to me right?
