Once a month, I schedule and appointment with my hairstylist, Max at axis atrium. Each time without fail I had to spend about 1.5-2 hours there. Most of the time spend waiting for Max while reading some fashion and gossip magazine. I actually kind of love the writing style of GLAM malaysia magazine. The way they alternate between the usage of Malay and English in such a classy way - like the way mak datin2 cakap. HIllarious : Like, when being asked what item you must have inside your bag one of them answer : By having a Hermes Berkin 35 karat gold handbag I dont need anyting else.. I feel like I'm on the top of the world .
Max is a perfectionist. That why he takes a long time to even trim my hair. I asked for a little trim only because for 2012 my plan is to keep a long hair. Previously every year I shave my hair on the new years eve. My plan is to keep it shoulder length with the bang covering my eye. Then I'll dye it yellow. Bang! straightway from Anime. By that time I already quit my boring day job in favour of something that give me more freedom ~ in a way of expressiion and what not.
While I was there I notice a new shampoo girl, average looking but speaks BM fluently and was very humble. I usually opt for wash and cut because previously I had terrible dandruff (now almost gone after I start cutting on rice and sugar) thus it saves me from embarrassment if they had to cut my hair while the dandruff falls like snowflakes. The washing process is also therapeutic. They massage my head for about 10 minutes to improve the blood circulation. That includes a few knocks on the head.
After I done with the haircut I treat myself with some froyo at Tutti Frutti. I feel that it taste less tacky now. Feels like real ice cream. Pay like RM7.20 for choc n vanilla mix. Although I'm cutting on carb and sugar, I feel that once in a while its ok to treat myself with something like this.. especially after a week of havoc at the office.
