The side project

This morning, McG pay us a visit. He came in to borrow my telephoto lenses and my slider. Since Mio is here we discussed about the direction of our small business start up. Apart from that we also do some experimentation along the way.
Our small venture starts from a simple idea by Mio. We started from a small hd camcorder and now growing to 3 camera, 2 of which is a dslr. Our business model is much like air asia. There not much frills and we cut cost by utilising basic hardware and simple editing. But still, we can ensure that we can capture the moments while meeting our customer expectation based on their budget. We ain't CST, manggis or shutterspeak and we will never be. We are targeting the rakyat.
After we finished recording Mio caricature tutorial we went down at the nearby field near my condo, where there is a function for Taski of some sort. Plan of getting our lunches there but none of them sparks any interest so me and Mio walks to RK, my favourite nasi campur joint.
Its very hot and I slept the whole afternoon until the evening while watching el mariachi, a movie that inspires me - done by Robert Rodriguez when hes still 23 using only USD7k budget. Iv'e made up my mind that before the end of next year I'll be equipped with all the skills I need to break into the movie making business. Before the age of 32 I will saw my name on the credits and before the age of 35 I'll be directing my first feature film. At the age of 40 I'll either have an award under my name or blockbuster movie with at least RM1 Million gross.
Back to the real world. At night I accompanied Mior to his office at Damansara. He treats me to Pizza at the worst Pizza Hut branch ever. The service is way too slow as reflected on foursquare. But nevermind, since its not my money.
